Alberto Gomez-Obregon

Alberto is currently a Managing Partner at CO_Capital focusing on impact investing in Latin America. Prior to that, he was the Director of Portfolio at Acumen. For the previous 12 years Alberto was executing mid-market private transactions across Latin America. Before Acumen, Alberto was a Vice President at Graycliff Partners as part of the firm’s Latin American middle-market growth equity platform. Prior to Graycliff, he was an AVP at Partners Group’s LatAm team, focusing on direct and primary investments in Mexico, Brazil, and the Andean region.
Before Partners Group he was part of The Carlyle Group’s Mexico team where he worked on middlemarket LBO and growth equity investments. Alberto also worked in the investment banking division of Citi Global Markets Latin America. He received his BS in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana and his MBA from London Business School.
