Amanda Askew is pursuing a Master of Science in Sustainability Management at Columbia University. Prior to graduate school, Amanda gained eight years of experience as a business development professional in the apparel and luxury goods industries in southeastern U.S., Chicago, and New York. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. Her interests in sustainability range from agriculture to consumer goods, with over-arching commonality of finding elegant solutions to reduce waste and generate value to society in a responsible way.
