Catalyst 2026: The Future of Climate Finance

Catalyst 2026: The Future of Climate Finance

Catalyst 2026: The Future of Climate Finance will take place at Columbia University (IAB 417) on April 17th from 2:45-7 PM ET.

The conference will explore how capital can be mobilized and deployed to scale the next generation of climate solutions. Bringing together industry practitioners, faculty, and students, Catalyst 2026 offers a dynamic forum for forward-looking discussion on the evolving role of finance in shaping a sustainable future.

The program will begin with a discussion on careers in sustainable finance, providing a practical perspective on the skills and experience increasingly sought across banks, funds, and investment platforms. The next panel focuses on mobilizing capital in emerging markets, highlighting the role of risk-sharing mechanisms and blended finance structures. The final panel explores scaling pathways, examining how climate solutions move from venture and growth equity into institutional capital, including project finance structures. The summit will conclude with a networking reception, offering attendees the opportunity to continue these discussions beyond the formal program.
